It is suitable for use in all makes and models designed to use ASTM D3306, the standard specification for ethylene glycol-based engine coolant. Regardless of the climate or conditions, Valvoline Multi-Vehicle Antifreeze/Coolant provides maximum protection for your cooling system.
The Alugard Plus additive in this antifreeze/coolant ensures compatibility with all ethylene glycol-based coolants in automobiles and light duty trucks. It is a universal fit that fights corrosion, scaling, and rust while protecting all cooling system metals, including aluminum. The high-quality additives in this formula protect against leaks and will not harm gaskets, hoses, plastics, or the original vehicle finish.
The pre-mixed yellow formula is ready-to-use in a 50/50 ratio with deionized water, providing protection from winter freezing (-34°F) and summer boiling (265°F). The concentrate can also be mixed with clean tap water or demineralized water at a 60/40 ratio for temperatures between -62°F and 270°F, or a 70/30 ratio for temperatures between -84°F and 267°F.
